Honda Story:
First, I'm sorry but I have to write in English. I am retired from the US Army and this is only my first year learning German. I have nothing against Hondas but as a car lover, a Honda wouldn't be my first choice (but they are reliable and affordable). My last car was a 2013 Shelby GT500 with 850HP. I sold that car to start my new life in Germany. There isn't a day that goes by I don't dream about that car (I really really really loved it). After I retired I really wanted a car I could daily drive and take to the track. Something not too expensive and reliable. My German wife and her ENTIRE family buys Honda (from the same dealership). It's almost like the dealership is part of our family. I had a 70HP Honda Jazz when I retired and I absolutely hated it. One day I was at the dealership for a normal service with the Jazz and there sat a Type R. I had read about it, seen the 'Ring videos and knew quite a bit about the car but again, Honda was never my first choice. After sitting in it (while I waited for my Jazz) I will admit I liked it. It grew on me. We ended up buying the car that day. I drive it everyday to my German language school and I will admit, the damn car grew on me quick. It was fairly quick, well built and handled very nicely. And then two weeks ago I took it to the Nürburgring and I will not lie, I f#¤king love that car. I couldn't be happier with its performance and ability to handle the track. I did 15 laps over the course of three days and I'm addicted to the car. I'm also a fan of the 2015 Castrol Racing WTCC design so I had the design placed on the car (not the advertisements because I have yet to receive authorization to do so) but the car definitely "yells" at you (ha ha). But again, I never thought I would love the car as much as I do, but I do. And next weekend I'm taking the Type R up to Spa for more track time. Honda drivers, much like Mustang drivers, take a lot of crap from the car community, but after owning this car for some time, I can say that I do love the damn thing!
